Structure of the Lay Dominican Fraternities

Lay Dominican Fraternities are typically organized locally, in a particular community, so that members can meet regularly to pray, study, support each other and work together. All Lay Dominican Fraternities around the world are affiliated with each other through membership in a local province. Provinces are then grouped together into five regional networks. Each of these networks in turn send a representative to the International Council of Lay Dominican Fraternities (ICLDF).

The regional networks are:

AFRICA: African Council of Lay Domincan Fraternities (ACLDF)

ASIA - PACIFIC: Asia Pacific Council of Lay Dominicans(APCLD)

EUROPE: European Council of Lay Dominican Fraternities (ECLDF)

LATIN AMERICA: Council of Lay Dominican Fraternities of Latin America and the Caribbean (COFALC)

NORTH AMERICA: Dominican Laity Inter-Provincial Council (DLIPC)
